Education
As the Children of Chain of Love have been growing up, Chain of Love has been keeping pace. A technical training center has been established to provide professional vocational training for the children when they reach the age of fourteen. This extra educational initiative is designed to help the young people realize their potential. As they are exposed to the trades and professions, they make choices that give them a direction and prepare them for responsible adult life. Educational funding helps them with technical, college, or university expenses, and aid them in reaching their goals.
At the technical center, the children are exposed to many different skills and trades from professionals in the community who volunteer their time. Generally we offer the following courses:
- Shoe making and leather work
- Arts and crafts
- Arts and crafts with recyclables
- Hair Cutting
- Baking bread
- Baking desserts
- Computer skills
- Word processing
- Microsoft Windows
- Photoshop
- English
- Electronics
- Drums
- Upholstery
- Soap making
- Welding
- Woodworking
