Everton - House 2
Everton comes to Chain of Love with his younger sister Solaina. They come from the beach city of Cidreira and will join their other brothers Alexsandro and Jorge in House 2 with houseparents Eli and Raimundo.
Everton’s mother is in jail and his father has another wife and started a young family with her. Everton and his sister were taken in but the maternal grandmother would make life so miserable for the family day and night that eventually they decided to give up Everton and Solaina. Their grandmother is not capable of raising them either as she would beat them and stick them with the point of a knife.
Everton is very polite and well mannered. However he is such a deep sleeper that he almost faints at night. He has already fallen out of bed and split a tooth, so we constructed a protector for him. He is presently in grade 2.
2009 Update: Everton does a good job when he is helping with his chores at home. He is a sensitive boy and cries easily. He prays that his sponsors would come and visit him.
