Simone - House 7
Simone was born March 27, 2006. Currently she is 5 years old. Simone and her brother just arrived from a half-way house where they have been for several months. Apparently they came to the half-way house malnourished, full of sores, and in a state of neglect.
Simone after being separated from her mother was quite depressive, would not sleep at night and cried a lot. Her mother, who has mental problems, was to receive therapy with the goal of caring for her children, but she refused to enter this program. Since coming to Chain of Love, Simone has talked about her mother but never her Father. He is being accused of sexually abusing her. Now that she is with us, we find her to be very active, talkative, inquisitive and outgoing.
Simone is presently in Kindergarten. We have placed Simone and her brother in house 7 with houseparents Marco and Fabiane.
