Cesar - House 7
Cesar was born July 23, 2002. Currently he is 9 years old. Cesar and his sister just arrived from a half-way house where they have been for several months. Apparently they came to the halfway house malnourished, full of sores, and in a state of neglect. Cesar never talks about his parents. He has no desire to receive a visit from them. He probably has seen enough to assume this posture. His younger sister that is with us was likely sexually abused by their biological father. Cesar is a lot quieter than his sister but is socially involved. He loves to play soccer and probably has the dream of being a professional player one day.
His mother, who has mental problems was to receive therapy to try to work towards caring for her children but she refused to enter this program.
Cesar is presently in grade 2. We have placed both Cesar and his sister in house 7 with houseparents Marco and Fabiane.
