Andriele - House 1
Andriele was born January 20, 2001. Currently she is ten years old. Andriele comes from a large family. She and her sister Estefani recently arrived at Chain of Love where we already have two of their younger siblings. They missed the younger ones and wanted to be with them.
Andriele´s parents were gone for long periods of time, leaving the children to beg for food from the neighbours. She would be totally unkempt, full of lice, and under-dressed in the cold weather. When her parents finally would show up, they were drunk, and would often argue at knife point.
As a result of her situation, Andriele and her siblings have psychological trauma. Not only would the parents neglect their children, but each one would come home at times with boyfriends or girlfriends which made matters worse. In the end, the neighbours ended up feeding and caring for the children.
Andriele had a traumatic time adjusting to Chain of Love her first day. It’s no surprise since she has already been through seven foster situations. Please pray that she would settle down and realize that Chain of Love is a long-term solution to her situation.
Andriele will no doubt struggle with her schooling. She is going into grade five. She is being placed in our first home with Eloi and Eva as her houseparents.
