Isaque - House 4
Isaque was born January 07, 2001. Currently he is 9 years old. He and his brother Ezequiel came to us from a halfway house in Novo Hamburgo where they have been for the past year-and-a-half.
Isaque and Ezequiel have another six brothers and sisters in other institutions and another 2 are already grown up. One of the brothers is in jail for killing their father. He committed the murder once he could no longer take the father abusing his younger sisters.
Isaque has a very sad history of abandonment, neglect, and physical violence, that has resulted in him being shuffled around by the authorities since 2003. His mother has a long history of alcohol abuse.
Isaque is in grade 3. He has difficulty learning and has a short attention span. No doubt the lack of stimulus on the part of any adult in his life has contributed to this. Isaque also struggles with many emotional issues including low self esteem due to his mother abandoning him and the other siblings.
Isaque is happy that he will be living at Chain of Love. The authorities have noted that he needs a family model in his life, permanent relationships and parental attention. Chain of Love exists for kids just like Isaque. He will be placed in house 4 with house parents Cezar and Marli along with his brother Ezequiel.
